Travel back to the time of dusty Vinyl. Shimmering piano solos & feel good music on the AM Radio. When great artists would help transport you into another world.

Hailing from Australia, Bradley McCaw is tour de force entertainer/recording artist/storyteller/piano man who as a teenager, heard Billy Joel’s music playing through a pair of old speakers, leading to a life altering realisation;

‘…there is almost nothing better in life, than a great song.’

It was the lush vocal harmonies, the percussive Rhodes piano and that incredible 52nd street band that inspired what was to come.

A ten year musical odyssey. A true transformation.

It was way back in 2013 when Bradley first stepped inside a recording studio with ten songs (later titled WORRIED MINDS LP). Unbeknownst to him and the three musicians on the session, these songs would take a staggering ten more years to complete.

Over the next decade, from the small town of Brisbane (Australia), Bradley would develop himself into true artist. Eventually working with genuine music legends at some of the world’s most prestigious studios including Capitol Studios (LA).

He begun travelling the world as a solo entertainer, studying and perfecting the great piano man tradition, enchanting audiences with the transformative power of music developing his craft song by song.

This journey was made even more impressive by Bradley’s first professional career. From 20 years old he worked Internationally as a classical singer/actor/composer, touring the world performing with award winning singing group ‘The Ten Tenors’, even performing at the AFL GRAND FINAL in 2014. He starred in musical productions in Australia, wrote full musicals and cabaret works performed in New York and London, and even produced works for other artists featured on Australian Radio, won Aria Awards (The Australian Grammy’s), reached #1 on the charts and streamed over 10+ million times online.

But it wasn’t till a meeting LA music legend ‘Louie Shelton’ (Lionel Ritchie, The Jacksons, John Lennon, The Monkees and many many more) in 2013, that his music would find it’s muse.

Under the mentorship of Louie, one of pop musics great icons, Bradley studied the art of music making, song arrangements, and musicianship. He would even obtain a Masters In Music from Griffith Conservatorium, studying Blues & Gospel Piano during this time, performing at some of Australia’s most prestigious venues and small local Saturday markets alike.

It wasn’t till the worldwide covid lockdowns in 2020-2022 that his debut album came back into focus.

Working at the historic ‘Studios 301’ in Sydney Australia, Bradley & his team survived lock downs and isolations, following all legal responsibilities, developing those ten songs from 2013 into a record.

In addition to Louie Shelton’s masterful guitar work they would be joined by a handful of new musical legends.

Nathan East on bass guitar, a founding member of the chart-topping contemporary jazz group, Fourplay, and collaborator to legendary artists like Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Barbra Streisand, Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder. And musical features by Australian music royalty James Morrison and Andrew Oh.

By June 23rd 2023, Bradley’s search, inspired by that Billy Joel song… was complete and his debut album WORRIED MINDS was released worldwide by Old Fashioned Records.

The record featured his singles SO GLAD, YOU AIN’T FOOLIN’ ANYONE, CRAZY, and a duet SOMEONE LIKE YOU ( with Australian Diva ‘Paulini’) featured on Australia TV & Radio, broke into the Top 10 iTunes Country Charts and is nearing 500,000 streams on Spotify. The album's music videos have been viewed over 3 million times online and his first Christmas single IT’S CHRISTMAS topped the PlayMPE charts, grabbing the top spot over new releases by more famous International artists.

This story, while unlikely is completely true and has been immortalised in the upcoming documents podcast series “MAKING WORRIED MINDS: My Ten Years making Ten songs.”

The ten part series includes interviews with the projects collaborators and team members and weaves a true crime/memoir style.

The work showcases Bradley’s ability as a storyteller and true artist. Highlighting the album’s journey while exploring what it means to be an artist in the modern music business. This is landmark series releasing in mid 2024.

More recently Bradley debuted his new ongoing live series, with his ‘Live At Studios 301 LP. Recorded over one day in late 2023, Bradley performs some of his favourite piano man numbers at the historic studios. The 20 track LP weaves audio from the session welcoming the audience into the room during recording in real time, creating a truly unique listening experience. The lead single a haunting rendition of DANCING IN THE DARK will be releasing June 2024.

Bradley is also developing new music for an upcoming TIMELESS LP (working title). Showcasing his smooth trademark vocals and sensation piano driven rock band, these immaculate renditions of rock classics hits from the 70s and 80s will be made available digitally on all streaming platforms during 2024/2025.
