It’s June 7th 2023. I’m sitting at my laptop in my office. I’m writing my last email to you… Day Seven is here.

HOW WE CREATED THE COVER ART
MICHAEL SALISBURY is a name you might not know but he’s one of the most prolific designers EVER.
In 2019 he and I worked together to create a series of images that would tie the entire WORRIED MINDS project together.
Every single leading into the album would have a different face with the same design, to create an entire collection.
Michael Salisburys work is everywhere in the motion picture industry. Mike helped created marketing campaigns for over 300 movies including Aliens, Jurassic Park, Romancing The Stone, Raiders of The Lost Ark and Moulin Rouge. His music industry work includes creating album covers for George Harrison, James Taylor, Randy Newman, Rickie Lee Jones, Ry Cooder, and Ike & Tina. Mike developed branding identities for Blue Note Records, RCA, United Artists Records and PolyGram. Mike has a Grammy for album design. Mike has photographs in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His design work is in the Library of Congress, the National Archives and the Smithsonian.
Here it is! If you look closely you will see my face changes from the front and back of the design. This is intentional and represents the process of a ‘worried mind’ shifting into a ‘joyful state.’ Hopefully how you feel listening to the album :)
